The '16-'17 PGA Tour Season is underway in Napa, CA and Wagner couldn't have asked for a much better start. 10 birdies on the day help him to a -7 finish, currently good for T4 with Round 1 still underway. BDJ had a far less eventful day, with an even par day after 1 birdie and 1 bogey. He is currently in T57. With only having conditional status this year, every result for BDJ is huge towards trying to get his full status back on Tour next season.

Scott Vincent is in Macau this week for another Asian Tour event, after finishing with another top 20 last week. He has now finished now worse than 18th in his 4 starts on the Asian Tour and sits inside the top 30 on the moneylist. After a -1 first round, SV sits in T29.

Jurrian van der Vaart and the ECT are in China this week and next week, but not a good start for him. Only got through 11 holes before a rain stoppage, but shot +5 to quickly put himself towards the bottom of the scoreboard. Three more events after this one to round out the ECT season and try to earn himself a European Tour card.

Finally, Blake Redmond is through 3 rounds of his first stage WCT Q school event, and is 4 shots off the pace to advance with 1 round to go.
